‘Moscow Metro’ allows users to build routes on the Moscow Metro, MCC and MCD map and on the city map, and lets users know about the changes in the operation of the public transport.
Users can top up the ‘Troika’ card, enable the Face Pay and the autopay options, check the rides and top up history, and use other functions in their personal accounts. Users with Android-based smartphones with NFC support can tap their ‘Troika’ card on the smartphone to validate the payment remotely. In other cases, residents and tourists should tap the transit card on the yellow terminal in the subway or on the validators in ground transport to top the card up.
Residents and visitors of the city can use the ‘Moscow Metro’ app to see how busy the subway cars are in real time. Alexandra chatbot, which is available in the app, answers the questions of users about the metro, MCC, MCD and other means of transport. The virtual assistant also helps residents and tourists to look for lost items, send requests to the Passenger Mobility Center, and issue certificates for work.
