My Moscow is the official mobile application of the portal of the Mayor and the Government of Moscow mos.ru. Users can use iOS or Android mobile devices (smartphones or tablets) to obtain the most popular services of the city. The app is available on the AppStore, Google Play, RuStore and Huawei AppGallery.
Application’s services cover healthcare, utilities, charity, education and other sectors. Residents can use the app to schedule an appointment with a doctor, submit readings of water and electricity meter readings, pay utility bills, help charitable organizations, check the class schedule, attendance and grades of a child and find out news about the city.
For example, the service for paying utility bills allows users to save the user’s time in comparison with the traditional approach — receiving a bill by mail, filling it out manually and paying at a bank branch. Users receive notifications about new bills come in the mobile application and can pay several bills at once. Also, users have access to the entire history of their payments and can download, save or send their payment receipts using instant messengers or via email.
In December 2020, a voice assistant was launched in the app. It answers the questions of users — a person just has to formulate a request by voice in a free form, and the robot will display the necessary information or open a window to get the service. Now the robot can find the class schedule, send water meter readings, show utility bills and a planned hot water shutdown schedule, and answer informal questions.
